The support device has a vertical carrier (6), extending over the complete height of a powder coating booth (1). One or more powder coating appliances, e.g. spray guns (5), are positioned vertically above each other on the carrier, and are moveable in vertical direction. The spray guns are carried on outrigger arms (9), and two arms above each other are coupled via a tension cable section (8) or similar. Each arm carries two horizontally moveable spray guns.
