PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color ink for ink-jet recording that can shorten the color-stabilizing time on the recording medium, has high moistureproofness and can secure the ink-jetting stability, thereby attains higher quality of recording in an ink jetting recorder that loads two or more levels of inks different in the concentration of a similar color tone using the concentration gradation in the addition to the conventional areal gradation. SOLUTION: This color ink for color jetting comprises at least water, dyes, a penetrating agent, a hydrophilic low-volatile and high boiling organic solvent. In the dilute ink with a dye concentration of 0.1-3 wt.%, the hydrophilic low volatile, high-boiling organic solvent is prepared by mixing a hydrophilic low volatile, high-boiling organic solvent having a vapor pressure of <=1 Pa at 20 deg.C with a hydrophilic low volatile, high-boiling organic solvent having a vapor pressure of 1-10 Pa at 20 deg.C. |
