PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easily usable portable ashtray with a lighter compactly portable even when used second or thereafter. SOLUTION: This portable ashtray with the lighter is obtained by composing a portable ashtray body of a first case and a second case respectively formed into a hollow state, forming an opening for placing a cigarette butt in either one of the first and the second cases, forming an engaging means for fitting either one of the first and second cases into the interior of the other, moving the one in a sliding manner, thereby making the opening openable and closable and preventing the fitted case from slipping off in one or both of the first and second cases and providing the lighter in the one of the first and second cases.
