PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a liquid food from being contaminated with dust and to minimize the cost of a packaging container. SOLUTION: The apparatus for manufacturing a packaging container is provided with a vibration transmitting section abutted on a container material before a liquid food is filled therein and a vibration generation source which generates vibration and transmits the vibration to the container material via the vibration transmitting section to wipe off dust 44 adhering to the container material. In this case, the vibration is transmitted to the container material via the vibration transmitting body to wipe off the dust 44 adhering to the container material, enabling the dust 44 adhering to the container material to be removed therefrom. Thereby, the liquid foods are prevented from being filled in the container material with the dust 44 adhering thereupon to prohibit inclusion of dust 44 into the liquid foods.
