PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transparent weight book cover capable of holding an opened condition even if a hand is kept apart from a book when the book is opened on a desk, and at the same time, enabling a person to enough read an opened page through a sheet, and capable of fitting a sheet-like magnifying lens, a colored film for a memory and the like. SOLUTION: A transparent weight sheet 2 with such a weight that can hold the opened condition by pressing the page is connected to either one side of an end of the one side or the one side of the end of both sides among both jacket parts of a jacket main body 1 to fold it back on the opened page and to press it.
