<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical connector which guarantees low loss in a connecting part. <P>SOLUTION: This is an optical connector 34 used together with an optical separator 14. The optical connector has a 1st part 36a and a 2nd part 36b, and the 1st part is optically connected to a 1st input part 38a of the optical separator by a 1st light transmission means 42, and is also optically connected to the 2nd input part 38b of the optical separator by the 2nd light transmission means 44. The 1st and 2nd parts are arranged to be removable in order to connect the 1st and 2nd light transmission means to 3rd and 4th light transmission means 46, 48, respectively, which are arranged for or connected to the 2nd part. Thus, the 1st and 2nd input parts of the optical separator can be optically connected to a 1st optical device 12 to be connected to the 3rd light transmission means and a 2nd optical device 20 to be connected to the 4th light transmission means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
