<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) control apparatus for a diesel engine, which can stop EGR before a fuel injection quantity is increased at the time of acceleration. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus comprises an EGR means 4 adjusting an EGR volume returned from an exhaust pipe 2 to an intake pipe 3, a filter means 23 performing a smoothening process to an accelerator opening detected by an accelerator opening degree sensor, an injection quantity determination means 24 deriving a target fuel injection quantity Qo to be injected from an injector by using the accelerator opening after the smoothening, and a control means 25 deriving a fuel injection quantity Qcut for determining the EGR stop by using the accelerator opening before the smoothening and decreasingly controlling the EGR volume by the EGR means 4 when the injection quantity exceeds a predetermined threshold value Hi. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
