<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper container with a good adhesion between thermoplastic resin films to each other in as vicinity of the paper end surface, and there is no problem for the mixing in of a paper powder, and a step at a laminated section is small as well, and a manufacturing method for a blank to be used for the paper container. <P>SOLUTION: This paper container is formed by using the blank (6) for forming the container comprising a laminated sheet having a sealant layer (2) at least on the internal surface. The paper container (10) has the paste-joined section (12) for which one end edge of the blank is superposed on the other end edge. In the paper container (10), the sealant layer (2) at the end edge of the paste-joined section of the laminated sheet which becomes the internal side of the laminated section (12) projects from the paper (1), and forms an end edge protective film (7).
