PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of automatically correcting colors of received image data by absorbing differences among color profiles different from each output device.

SOLUTION: A flowchart denoting control procedures of this technology includes: steps S1, S2 of receiving image data and their attribute information; a step S3 of storing the received image data and attribute information; a step S4 of instructing on the image data to be outputted among the stored image data and an output apparatus; a step S5 of reading the image data selected from a color profile storage section and a type or the like of the apparatus for generating the image data; a step S6 of reading a corresponding output method on the basis of the instructed output apparatus; a step S7 of selecting a color conversion method and setting a selected color conversion engine (CMYK into RGB conversion, and RGB into CMYK conversion); and a step S9 of reading a color profile of an input apparatus and the output apparatus on the basis of the setting of the color conversion from a color profile storage means and carrying out color conversion on the basis of the color profile.
