BACILLUS CLAUSII STRAIN FOR FATS DEGRADATION AND MICROBIAL AGENT FOR FOODWASTE TREATMENT USING IT

A microbial agent prepared by absorbing a novel Bacillus clausii SKAL-16 strain into zeolite is provided to be useful for fermentation-treating garbage by excellent salt-resistance and fat-degrading capacity of the Bacillus clausii SKAL-16 strain, thereby being able to treat the garbage economically and hygienically. A microbial agent for treating garbage comprises a Bacillus clausii SKAL-16 strain(deposition no. of KACC 91320P) for degrading fats with salt-resistance. The method for preparing the agent comprises the steps of: (a) aerobically culturing the strain in a nutrition culture medium to prepare a culture solution of the fermentation bacteria; (b) absorbing the culture solution in an inorganic carrier such as zeolite and drying it to prepare a fermentation bacteria-dried material; and (c) mixing the dried material with a feed ingredient of fermentation bacteria and an excipient.
