<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a delay time to be simply and accurately set in a magnetic resonance imaging system which performs imaging by using an electrocardiographic synchronization imaging method such as an FBI (fresh blood imaging) method, particularly, a Flow-Spoiled FBI method. <P>SOLUTION: A host computer 6 captures images of a subject 200 in a plurality of time phases different from one another in delay time from the reference time phase of the cardiac time phase of the subject 200, generates each of difference images associated with an ROI about a reference image as one of a plurality of respective obtained ECG-prep images and the plurality of ECG-prep images except the reference image, generates a maximum projected image associated with the plurality of difference images, generates a mask image by binarizing this maximum value image, generates a plurality of masked images by masking each of the ECG-prep images in the ROI with the mask image, and determines an average of a pixel value of each pixel in the masked image, in terms of each of the plurality of masked images. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
