<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus which can reduce, to a minimum, electric power consumed for establishing connection between access spots, as well as an imaging system, a recording medium, and a program related thereto. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus includes an imaging section 16 which picks up an object and outputs the image data, the recording medium 20 for storing the image data, a first wireless communication circuit 30 for communicating with an external apparatus which acquires current position data 22, a second wireless communication circuit 32 for transmitting the image data through access spots, and a correspondence map 24 in which the access spots and geographical data provided with the installed access spots are made to correspond to each other and registered. The correspondence map 24 is searched by using, as a search key, the current position data 22 acquired from the external apparatus, so that the image data stored in the recording medium 20 are transmitted through a searched access spot.
