LIGHT GUIDE PLATE, DISPLAY DEVICE, AND ELECTRONIC APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a uniform plane light source which facilitates coping with miniaturization, cost reduction or the like, and does not cause unevenness of luminance values in that case.

SOLUTION: A light guide plate 12 to allow the uniform light emission of the whole surface using light admitted from an end surface comprises a parent prism 12a formed on the surface opposing a light emitting surface and a child prism 12b formed on the oblique surface on the end surface side of the parent prism 12a wherein the parent prism 12a and the child prism 12b are configured so as to convert the travelling direction of light admitted from the end surface to make the light outgoing from the light emitting surface.
