摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protein for penicillin-binding protein(PBP) 3-transpeptidase domain, usable in crystallization and in assaying compounds.

SOLUTION: The protein for Haemophilus influenzae and Escherichia coli PBP 3-transpeptidase domain is produced through identifying Haemophilus influenzae PBP 3-transpeptidase domain. A modified protein with a loop region in the above domain shortened is also produced.
