PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily specify an image captured during an execution act.

SOLUTION: In an endoscope system 10, a first procedure switch 46 and a second procedure switch 48 in which a user inputs a command for starting an execution period of a prescribed procedure event. When the user pushes an imaging switch 44 during the execution period of the procedure event, an image formation device 66 transmits image data indicating the captured images associated with a procedure ID of the procedure event to which the start of the execution period is commanded, to an image filing device 68. The image filing device 68 stores the received image data associated with the procedure ID in a storage section 106.
