<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently use a clock channel of a digital video interface. <P>SOLUTION: The present invention provides a digital video interface system and method for communicating digital video data from a source device to a sink device. Not only a clock signal but also a data are transmitted therein by a bi-directional half-duplex system, using time division weighting, in the clock channel. The digital video interface system has one or more of data channels constituted to transmit a digital video data from the source device to the sink device, by time division multiplexing including a plurality of first time slots and second time slots, and the clock channel constituted to transmit the clock signal from the source device to the sink device in the first time slot and constituted to transmit an additional data from the source device to the sink device, or from the sink device to the source device in the second time slot. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
