ANTIFUNGAL COMPOSITION AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems wherein a highly safe antifungal composition having an excellent antifungal activity and a method for producing the composition cannot be accomplished in an industrial priority in a technique by conventional findings.

SOLUTION: A mixture of phenol compounds containing various xylenol isomers characterized by extracting a pericarp dry distillation liquid of citrus fruits with an ether and further fractionating the resultant extract is highly safe and can be produced as the antifungally active composition having the excellent antifungal activity in the industrial priority.
