PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide useful information when a job is allocated to any of a plurality of computers. SOLUTION: The computer reserve capacity calculating device 1 is equipped with a memory device 2 and a processing device 3, wherein the memory device 2 stores the performance value information DA to indicate the performance values of different computers, the use rate information DB to indicate the resource use rate of each computer, and the threshold information DR to indicate the threshold of the resource use rate. The processing device 3 makes reference to these pieces of information DA, DB, and DR, and calculates the reserve capacity of each computer on the basis of the difference between the threshold and resource use rate and the performance value.
