PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a volume of a bounding box of a harness curve to perform interference calculation of less wastefulness. SOLUTION: This harness design support device for supporting a path design of a harness in a design target device incorporated with the harness has: a storage means 20 previously storing three-dimensional model data of a component except the harness and the curve of the harness; and an interference calculation part 14 for creating the bounding box and calculating interference between the component and the harness curve of the three-dimensional model data. The interference calculation part 14 reduces the volume of the bounding box of the harness curve by coordinate conversion when creating the bounding box, performs similar coordinate conversion even to the component, and thereafter performs the interference calculation between the harness curve and the component.
