The vehicle has an A-column and a C-column comprising an image detection and display system (1) with a display device (3). The display device has a screen (13), where an image about the vehicle surrounding obtained by an image detection device (2) is displayed by the display device. The screen is integrated into an inner lining of the columns or the inner lining is formed through the screen, where the screen is formed by LEDs. An optical sensor i.e. camera (8), is provided in the image detection device.
