The present invention relates to an apparatus for manufacturing a heat-generating fiber and a manufacturing method thereof which form a carbon-coated layer on the surface of yarn, the apparatus including: a twisted yarn forming device for forming twisted yarn by twisting a plurality of strands of yarn; a carbon solution coating device installed on one side of the twisted yarn forming device and coating the twisted yarn with a carbon solution; a heater drying device installed over the carbon solution coating device, having a plurality of heaters therein, firstly drying the twisted yarn formed from the twisted yarn forming device, and secondly drying the coated yarn coated with the carbon solution while passing through the carbon solution coating device; a wind drying device installed on one side of the heater drying device, having a duct for discharging wind on one side thereof, and thirdly drying the coated yarn which passed through the heater drying device. |
