An apparatus for cutting pipe is provided to reduce return time after cutting by installing a balancer in a cutting member so as to minimize generation of bur when cutting the pipe. An apparatus for cutting pipe includes a running rail(21), a running trolley(30), and a cutting member(40). The running rail is formed on a body(20) with a slope. The running trolley is connected to the running rail with the slope. The running trolley is mounted to move vertically on the running rail. The cutting member is mounted to move horizontally on the running trolley. The cutting member includes a decelerator(47). The cutting member further includes a plurality of gears for rotating a cutting saw(49). The running guide(31) is formed under the running trolley and is connected to the running rail. The generation of bur, noise, chip, and powder is minimized by rotating the cutting saw at low speed and the accident according to break of the saw is prevented.
