A driving state monitoring method and a related device, the method comprising: a driving state monitoring server receives driver state information and automobile state information sent by a driving state monitoring client, the driver state information being obtained by a driver state monitoring device and sent to the driving state monitoring client, the automobile state information being obtained by an automobile state monitoring device and sent to the driving state monitoring client; the driving state monitoring server determines whether a driver is in a dangerous driving state according to the driver state information and the automobile state information; when the driver is in a dangerous driving state, the driving state monitoring server sends dangerous driving warning information to the driving state monitoring client so as to prompt the driver the adjust their driving behaviour. The driving state monitoring method and related device implement the monitoring of a driving state, and improve the driving safety of a driver. |
