Disclosed are a method and system for binding a user account number to an image formation device by a mobile terminal. The method comprises: a mobile terminal scanning a two-dimensional code; the mobile terminal decoding the two-dimensional code, so as to acquire decoded information comprising image formation device information; the mobile terminal sending a user account number to a server; the server binding an image formation device corresponding to the image formation device information to the user account number according to the user account number received from the mobile terminal and the image formation device information acquired by the mobile terminal using the two-dimensional code; and the mobile terminal executing a printing task using the image formation device bound to the user account number.
