A valve and a spool assembly thereof. The spool assembly comprises a spool (2), a driving member (5), a control member, and a clutch (7). The clutch has a connecting structure, a clutch structure, and a resetting structure. The connecting structure is located in a recess and is connected to the spool or the driving member (5). When a valve rod (4) rotates to open the valve or when the valve rod rotates to close the valve and before the spool reaches a preshutdown position, the clutch is connected to the spool and the driving member at the same time, making the driving member rotate synchronously with the spool around a common axis. The valve rod rotates the valve, and when the spool reaches the preshutdown position, the valve rod continues to rotate, and a clutch structure of the clutch enables the driving member and the spool to rotate and separate synchronously under the effect of the control member, so as to convert the rotation of the spool around the common axis into a radial movement of the spool pressing against a valve base of the valve. The spool assembly and the valve not only have small opening and closed torques, but also a simple structure, an excellent manufacturing process and good sealing performance and is easy to operate. |
