PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device of delta quantization parameter processing for a high efficiency video coding.SOLUTION: A coding method of a video comprises the steps of: forming a plurality of leaf CUs by dividing the video into the maximum coding unit (LCU) and dividing at least one LCU with a coding unit (CU) smaller than the LCU, and receiving the present leaf CU having at least one conversion unit (TU); determining the minimum CU size (QP minimum CU size) of a quantization parameter; assembling first quantization parameter information to the present leaf CU of a bit stream; and assembling second quantization parameter information to at least two leafs CU having the present leaf CU of bit stream when non-null quantization conversion coefficient relating to at least one TU is existed, the size of the present leaf CU is smaller than the QP minimum CU size, and a master CU size of the present leaf CU is equal to the QP minimum CU size.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
