PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-insoluble polymer builder having both excellent detergency and anti-resoiling performance, and a method for producing the same.SOLUTION: The water-insoluble polymer builder comprises a copolymer of an organic carboxylic acid monomer and a crosslinkable monomer. The ratio (d2/d1) of a volume-average particle diameter (d2) in a state swollen with water to a volume-average particle diameter (d1) in a dried state of the water-insoluble polymer builder is 5-100. |
