Aggregate usable as gravel

The aggregate contains ground household waste and a mixture of silicates, inert fillers, plastic binders and setting reinforcers. The aggregate is prepared by first coarsely milling the household waste, removing metallic matter, milling finely and adding the components of the said mixture to the powder obtained. The mixed powder obtained is granulated under pressure and the granules obtained are treated at an elevated temperature. The process makes it possible to remove household waste without concomitant pollution. The aggregate is usable in concrete, cement-based coatings and road dressings.
