摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a new polymer capable of providing a developer improved in dispersibility and fixing property, having charge control action of developer particles and excellent in recycle property and useful also as a charge transfer agent of an electrophotographic organic photoreceptor. CONSTITUTION:The objective (meth)acrylic polymer is obtained by copolymerizing a (meth)acrylic monomer of formula I (R1 is H or CH3; m is 1-20) (e.g. methyl acrylate) with a hydrazone group-containing monomer of formula II (R2 is R1; R3 is 1-20C alkyl; R4 is H, halogen, etc.). The polymer is preferably constituted of the monomer of formula I and the monomer of formula II in a weight ratio of l:(0.5-5). Furthermore, this polymer is generally preferably obtained by a solution polymerization and as a polymerization solvent, e.g. an aliphatic hydrocarbon, aromatic hydrocarbon, etc., is used. As a polymerization initiator, e.g. benzoyl peroxide is used.
