<p>PURPOSE:To prevent breakage of the components of a compressor and to reduce the consumption power of the compressor by preventing the generation of an abnormally high pressure in the interior of the compressor. CONSTITUTION:A compressor has structure wherein lower pressure passages 2c and 2d on the front side and the rear side which are communicated to a suction port 11 for sucking refrigerant gas therethrough and through which low pressure refrigerant gas flows and a high pressure passage 2e are partitioned away from each other by means of a partition wall 20. An on-off valve 30 opened when a pressure in the high pressure passage 2e attains a value exceeding a given high pressure and communicated between the low pressure passages 2c and 2d and the high pressure passage 2e is arranged to the partition wall 20. When the on-off valve 30 is opened, bypass operation wherein a part of high pressure refrigerant gas in the high pressure passage 2e is returned to a low pressure passage is executed, and a pressure in the high pressure passage is reduced through operation.</p> |
