<p>PURPOSE:To satisfy both of the response demand and output demand of a V type engine due to the opening and closing motion of valves and lighten and compactize the engine and prevent the engine becoming large in vain by integrally forming a first surge tank and first volume and a second surge tank and second volume respectively. CONSTITUTION:First and second surge tanks 22-1 and 22-2 are connected to portions downstream of the first and second branch passages 20-1 and 20-2 provided branched in an intake passage downstream of a throttle valve. First and second switch valves 28-1 and 28-2 are provided between the first and second volumes 26-1 and 26-2, which are integrally provided in each of the other end of the first and second surge tanks, and the first and second surge tanks to be opened and closed to intermittently communicate each volume and surge tank depending upon the operation state of an engine. In a communication passage 38 communicating the first and second volumes, a communication valve 40 is provided to intermittently communicate the first and second valves depending upon the operation state of the engine.</p> |
