摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To lessen the deformation degree due to thermal contraction even in use under a cryogenic environment by combining at least two kinds of opposite thermally expanding or contracting fiber and synthetic resin, and allowing them to be composed. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical member 14 is made up in a manner such that two materials, i.e., glass fiber 11 and polyetylene fiber 12 with the properties of representing opposite thermal expansion and contraction and having the same coefficient of thermal expansion and contraction and, besides, the same modulus of longitudinal elasticity are aligned alternately in the same number and then are wound into a cylindrical form by filament winding while being dipped in epoxy resin to be a matrix. As a result, the glass fiber 11 tends to contract at low temperature, however, the polyethylene fiber 12 combined by the epoxy resin 13 expands oppositely and, moreover, since the modulus of longitudinal elasticity of both the fibers is the same and the coefficient of thermal expansion and contraction thereof is also the same, the expansion and contraction of both the fiber interacts in the same composite material. Accordingly, there never occurs expansion and contraction in the diameter direction and axial direction even in employing the cylindrical member 14 under cryogenic circumstances.</p>
