<p>PURPOSE: To provide a burner wherein there is not included on a burner body a mechanical member for controlling the number of jets to be supplied and a gas distribution chamber. CONSTITUTION: The present invention is to provide a linear burner which includes a jet 5 extending through an opening section 12 provided in a wall surface of a burner body 3 that forms an air distribution chamber. The jet 5 is connected with a series of pipes 7a, 7b,... for supplying fuel gas or a mixture of fuel gas and air, and these pipes extend to the outside after passage through the burner body 3, and are outside of the burner connected with a distribution housing to which the fuel gas or the mixture of the fuel gas and air is supplied. The housing includes adjusting means 9 for selective supply to supply pipes joined with the jet.</p> |
