The drive pulley incorporates a vibration damper. It is used with a belt drive on an IC engine and has a connecting flange formed from sheet metal. A radial disk has a belt groove in which the belt sits, and shaped secondary mass is connected elastically with the belt disk. The connecting flange (12) has a hub section (14) formed with it as a single unit, which connects into the disk (16) and carrier the secondary mass. USE/ADVANTAGE - Simple, cost-effective design of belt drive pulley with secure mounting of secondary mass to belt disk.
