<p>PURPOSE:To support and erect a handrail in the angle adjustable state according to the inclination so as to tighten an angle adjusting fastening part positively and firmly. CONSTITUTION:A handrail receiving member 3 to be fixed to the side face of a handrail (a) is provided with a contact swollen part 13 having a cylindrical sliding protruding face 13a. A recessed supporting end 10 formed of a cylindrical sliding recessed face 10a orthogonal to the direction of the inclination of the handrail (a) is formed at the tip of a supporting arm shaft 2 to be fixed to a support (b). Both sliding faces 13a, 10a are combined in such a way as to come in close contact slidably only in the circumferential direction, and a fastening screw 4 inserted through an oblong hole 14 for inserting the fastening screw is screw-fastened to the tip of the supporting arm shaft 2 so as to be integrated into a desired angle. As occasion calls, numerous bite protrusions are disposed on the cylindrical sliding protruding face 13a, and the bite protrusions are deformed and engaged between the opposed sliding faces by the tightening of the fastening screw 4 to maintain a fastening angle.</p> |
