PURPOSE:To impart antistatic properties, to improve heat resistance and to stabilize running by providing a conductive anchor layer composed of saturated polyester and a back surface layer composed of a heat-resistant adhesion preventing layer wherein a silicone modified resin is crosslinked by polyisocyanate. CONSTITUTION:A conductive anchor layer wherein 20-70wt.% of conductive carbon black (conductive particle) is added to a saturated polyester resin with a glass transition point of 45 deg.C or higher and a heat-resistant adhesion preventing back surface layer formed by coating the anchor layer with a resin based on one of or both of a silicone modified urethane resin and a silicone modified acrylic resin and crosslinked by polyisocyanate are provided on one surface of a base material and a thermal transfer ink layer is formed on the other surface of the base material to obtain a desired thermal transfer recording medium. |
