<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary battery which reduces production cost and improves productivity by excluding a process. <P>SOLUTION: The secondary battery is provided with; a can 31 storing an electrode assembly body 32, a cap plate 41 connected to a top end opening part of the can 31 and with an electrode injection opening 46 formed on it, a gasket 42 insulating an electrode terminal 43 by interfering between the electrode terminal 43 and the cap plate 41, and a plug 47 sealing the electrode injection opening 46 by being pressured into the electrode injection opening 46. A uniform insulating layer is formed on a top surface of the plug 47 and the cap plate 41 by forming an UV-curing layer 48 over all the top surface of the cap plate 41. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
