<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventilator without reducing appearance design of a building, while enhancing a degree of freedom of setting an installation position on a wall surface of the building. <P>SOLUTION: A vent box S is installed in an installation opening formed on an outer wall G. An outdoor exposed part of the vent box S is formed in a laterally long rectangular thin parallelepiped. A body part 10 of the vent box S is formed in a substantially L shape by connecting one end of a sideways cylindrical body 12 to a lower end part of a vertical cylindrical body 11 arranged in a wall body, and a cover material 20 is installed by projecting the other end of the cylindrical body 12 to the outdoor side. The upper end of the cylindrical body 11 is opened in a position communicating with an attic space of the building H. A clearance between the tip of the cylindrical body 12 and the cover material 20 is opened by facing downward, to become a ventilation opening. An upper end opening of the cylindrical body 11 is also connected to a duct, and is connected to communicate with the attic space and a desired indoor space via the duct, and may be ventilated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
