PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exhibit deodorization effect, anti-bacterial effect, and purification effect and remove malodor in a sewage treatment site by adding red-color sulfur bacteria (Chromatium), which is a photosynthetic bacteria and a material secreted by metabolism of lactic acid bacteria to respective tanks in an activated-sludge wastewater treatment site. SOLUTION: Most of the sludge in an activated-sludge wastewater treatment site is excretion of human being and the treatment is carried out based on organic matter-decomposing function of microorganism and the condition is supposed to be the same as that in the intestines. Therefore, the material produced by metabolism of lactic acid is added to sludge tanks in the activated-sludge wastewater treatment site to keep the condition in good harmony with the activation of the microorganism in the sludge tanks and to suppress septic malodor of organic compounds such as ammonia, hydrogen sulfide, etc. Moreover, by adding red-color sulfur bacteria (Chromatium), the tanks are turned to be anaerobic and following ammonia, hydrogen sulfide formation, the bacteria take in these compounds and turn into hydrogen and remove malodor. In this way, by continuously adding proper amounts of liquid material by metabolism of lactic acid bacteria and red-color sulfur bacteria to respective tanks every day, microorganism in the sludge tanks is kept in good balance and malodor emission is prevented and water quality is improved.
|
