<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch panel device capable of reducing the peripheral edge part of the screen of a display device. SOLUTION: Light emitted from a light emitting element is reflected on a reflection surface 9a at a light transmitting member 9, and light passed on an acrylic board 5 is reflected on a reflection surface 10a at a light transmitting member 10 so as to be made incident on a light receiving element 2. Thus, since the light transmitting members 9 and 10 having the reflection surface 9a and 10a are provided, the distance between the light emitting element 1 and an infrared transmission filter 6 and the distance between the infrared transmission filter 6 and the light receiving element 2 can be prolonged and the frames edge part 8a of a panel 8 can be shortened.</p> |
