<p>the burner mouth is mounted in a firebox wall, it being connected by pipe (7) to a mill. The burner (3) is of circular cross-section and enclosed by an annular air passage (13). The body (9) and inducer (8) are in its inlet end, while the ring (10) in its mouth has inwards-extending segments (11.1,11.2) spaced apart in the lateral direction. The segments can be of different lengths in the lengthwise and peripheral directions of the ring, and alternating in the peripheral direction. The burner mouth can contain a section of tube (12) clear in the radial direction of the inner ring edge, and being supported by the segments.</p> |
