MOUNTING METHOD AND HOLDER FOR SMD MICROPHONE

A method for mounting a microphone for an SMD(Surface Mounted Device) and a holder suitable for the same are provided to prevent the sound property of the microphone from being deteriorated by preventing a flux or a foreign substance from being flown into the microphone. A holder(100) suitable for a method for mounting a microphone for an SMD includes a cap body(110) and a flange(120). The cap body(110) is made of a high-thermal resistance material sanding at reflow temperature and a space is formed inside of the cap body(110) to mount the microphone for the SMD. The flange(120) is in a shape of a ring and is formed as one body with the cap body(110). The cap body(110) has a central hole(111), a tool contact surface(113), and a buffing protrusion(115). The central hole(111) is formed on the center of a top side surface of the cap body(110) to flow an external sound. The tool contact surface(113) in a shape of a plane is formed around the central hole(111) to be convenient to use a vacuum tool during mounting the microphone. The buffing protrusion(115) is formed on a circumferential surface of an inner surface of a top side of the cap body(110) to avoid direct surface friction with a sound hole of the microphone when using the vacuum tool in a radius direction on the center of the central hole(111).
