PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize miniaturization and low cost regarding a recording medium loading device for loading/ejecting a recording medium. SOLUTION: This recording medium loading device is provided with a damper mechanism for damping the sudden movement of a slider. The damper mechanism is provided with a damper arm 35 turnably supported with respect to a top board 15 and turned and biased by the movement of the slider because of the connection of its one end to the slider, an abutting member 36 disposed on this damper arm 35 and freely slid in an arrow direction D1 shown in the drawing, a slide-contacting part 15d disposed on the top board 15 and constituted so that the slide-contacting of the abutting member 36 is achieved in the rotational range (L) of the damper arm 35, and a coil spring 37 for pressing the abutting member 36 toward the slide-contacting part 15d.
