<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable displacement compressor capable of suppressing elastic deformation of a shaft when rapidly becoming a maximum discharge amount state, suppressing vibration of a drive hub caused by compressing reaction force at the maximum discharge amount state, and preventing the generation of vibration and noise. SOLUTION: In this variable displacement compressor, a thrust flange 40 is fixed on a rotating shaft 5, and a drive hub 41 is rotatably attached to the rotating shaft 5. A first end of the drive hub is coupled with a first end of the thrust flange, and a piston is reciprocated through rotations of the drive hub 41. When pressure in a crankcase becomes not more than a specified value, a second end of the drive hub abuts on a drive hub receiving surface 40c provided at a second end of the thrust flange. The drive hub receiving surface 40c of the thrust flange 40 is made to be generally perpendicular to the rotating shaft 5.</p> |
