PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a padding material for an air-conditioned seat which is placed on a passenger's side, changes the circulation of air by compressing the surface of the padding material, and enables an appropriate air-conditioning by blowing the air evenly all over the surface of the seat. SOLUTION: The padding material is made of polyurethane foam, which is formed by foaming a mixed material M of polyol to which various additives are added in advance and isocyanate and has cells 38 of a required diameter, and is adhered to the air-conditioned seat constituted to send air G of a temperature adjusted in advance to the passenger through a base part 16. The padding material is constituted of an uncompressed layer 34 which is adhered to the base part 16 and sufficiently circulates the supplied air G and a compressed layer 32 formed by compressing the surface side of the padding material under heat on the uncompressed layer 34 to increase a resistance against the circulation of the air G.
