PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for studless tires which does not cause migration, gives a tire exhibiting high friction force on an ice road and capable of enhancing performance on an ice road, especially on-ice braking performance, and is not inferior in fundamental properties (viscosity, hardness, tensile characteristics, etc.) before and after vulcanization; and a studless tire having a tread prepared from the rubber composition. SOLUTION: The rubber composition contains reclaimed rubber and rubber for studless tires containing 20-60 mass% butadiene rubber and 40-80 mass% natural rubber. The reclaimed rubber is prepared by a specific method from a vulcanized rubber composition which is formed by partly or totally vulcanizing a rubber composition containing 40-100 mass% natural rubber and/or isoprene rubber. The reclaimed rubber has a wt. average mol.wt. of 2,000-100,000 and is contained in an amount of 1-30 pts.mass based on 100 pts.mass rubber for studless tires. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
