<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote control unit for a vehicle for preventing a user from forgetting to return a mechanical key 6 into a remote control unit 1. <P>SOLUTION: This remote control unit for a vehicle communicates with an on-vehicle machine mounted on a vehicle to thereby operate the locking and unlocking of a vehicle door. In the remote control unit for a vehicle, an antenna line 12 is wound in a hollow coil shape to form an antenna 10 used for communication with the on-vehicle machine. In addition, a metal part of the mechanical key 6 is inserted into this hollow portion, inductance of the antenna line 12 when the mechanical key 6 is inserted is different from inductance of the antenna line 12 when the mechanical key 6 is not inserted, the antenna 10 is prevented from being tuned to make a remote operation impossible. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
