摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode material for lithium secondary battery which consists of a fine crystalline texture and contains Si as a main component and a lithium secondary battery comprising this electrode material.

SOLUTION: This is an electrode material for lithium secondary battery which consists of a powder containing Si as a main component and of which the surface interval in (111) face of Si by X-ray diffraction is in a range 3.15 Å or more and 3.20 Å or less.
