PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feeding device capable of accurately feeding paper sheets by one recording line with a conveying roller, and to provide an image forming device with the same. SOLUTION: This paper feeding device separates the sheets one by one for feeding with a sheet feeding device for feeding the sheets housed in a sheet housing means and a separating inclined surface for separating the sheets, which are fed by the sheet feeding means, one by one. An arm for holding the feeding means is fitted to a driving shaft for driving the feeding means through a one-way clutch to transmit driving force from a driving source to the driving shaft through a torque limiter.
