PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roller for a printing machine, with improved printing performance, elongated life, and hardness to be affected by ink solvent, and affected by heat generated by contact compared with conventional urethane rollers. SOLUTION: In this roller for a printing machine, an olefine-based urethane roller is formed by heat-molding olefine-based urethan obtained by reacting olefine-based polyol as olefine-based substance having two or more hydroxyl groups, and a molar weight of 1000 or more with diisocyanate as substance having two or more NCO terminals into a core material 4.
